On Friday March 4, 2011, a story was published by Dimeji Ogedengbe of TheNetng.com in what seemed like a malicious attempt to de-fame two very hard working artists; Zara of Aboko Ku fame and Jesse Jagz of Chocolate City. In the story it was reported that “The Management” of GET Arena caught the two young acts ‘making out’. A call was quickly put through to GET Arena by Zara’s management company as well as Chocolate City, and in a statement issued to both parties, the management at Get Arena clearly stated that they DID NOT see Zara nor Jesse Jagz making out anywhere and at any event, hence their names being attached to the story makes it FALSE. They (GET Arena Management) also stated that they do not know who TheNetng is and did not speak to anyone about Zara or Jagz.
Zara is a hard working young lady whose main focus is her career and promoting her Aboko Ku song and video. We do not understand why anyone would go through such lengths to de-fame her. She has clearly denied of any such occurence between her and Jagz or any other person at the event.
Award winning artiste Jesse Jagz whose album ‘Jag of all Trades’ was released about a year ago has no idea of any of the said events, he was present @ the M.I “One Night Stand” to support his brother but nothing of that nature occurred to his knowledge. His Manager, Sola received a call from one Dimeji Ogedengbe on 22/02/2011 claiming he had a story about it but received an answer in the negative. He however never called back to confirm the incident. Jesse and his management are really shocked by the post as are Zara and her management.
From Zara, her management, Chocolate City and the management at GET Arena, we are stating very clearly that the incident reported by TheNetng did not happen to neither of the accused artistes and we bid them next time to carry out proper investigations before publishing harmful articles or misrepresenting people.
