LADY GAGA DONATES WRIST BAND PROCEEDS TO JAPAN RELIEF EFFORTS

In response to the devastating tsunami and earthquake that hit Japan on Friday (Mar. 11), Lady Gaga has designed a "Japan Prayer Bracelet," with all proceeds for the wristband going to relief efforts. The pop star posted the announcement on Twitter on Friday and provided a link to the item on the official store of her website.

The white wristband features the phrase "We Pray for Japan" written in both Japanese and English, as well as a pair of red hands making a clawing gesture. Each bracelet costs $5.00, but fans can make additional donations of up to $100 per wristband.

It's nice how the world can participate or can help when they buy silicone bracelets. I thank the technology for making it possible for us to personally indulge our time and little effort to help a NATION! Can you imagine how technology can connect us to the world easily? It's nice that some still use this for positive intentions.
